Note on Husband: James Teevin

NOTE There is one other Teevin line with an early marriage in the same church as James was married in - Edward Teevin who married Mary Robinson in 1850. He had different parents from James but it's likely they're related.

For now I am attributing other early marriages in the area to those of siblings of James (who married Mary Flannigan). Until I have actual transcriptions of the marriages this isn't 100% certain.

In short - NONE of the other Teevin's listed as James' siblings are CONFIRMED to be the children of Francis and Anne (in fact neither is James per se, I got the info from a contact so it's not cast iron]. Nor is the marriage to Ellen Gallacher certainly this James. Some will inevitably be brothers etc of Edward who married Mary Robinson.

============================================

Thomas Teevin and Margaret Monaghan witnessed the wedding to Mary. James was a bachelor and Mary a spinster when they were married.

James was mentioned as the head of a household in the 1871 Ontatio census, living in Toronto East, St James' Ward.

The family appeared in the 1881 Canadian census at St James Ward, Toronto, York, Ontario.
