================
William left a will. He made provisions for an investment of £20,000 to be made, 2/3 the proceeds of which were to go to his son William. The remaining third was to go to any of William (Jr)'s children. On the death of William Jr, his children were to be allowed access to the full money.
If William Jr and his children were not to survive William Snr, the will provided for the same terms to be applied to his daughter Mary who was married to John Teevan.
He additionally left John Teevan, William Drummond and Robert Brooks £100 "for their kindness in attempting the office of Executor of this my will".
His wife was to be taken care of through the income derived from his real estate and any residual personal estate. On her decease, their daughter Mary would be the beneficiary. Upon the decease of Mary, an annual fee of not more than £200 was to be paid to her husband.
The will was proved on 4th July 1846.
