Description: This database is a return of all apprentice apothecaries in Ireland between 1791 and 1829 and lists names and addresses arranged by year and county. The full title of the parliamentary paper is:
"A return of the names of each person in each year since the 24th of June 1791, who has been examined by the governor and directors of the Apothecaries' Hall in Dublin and who has received a certificate of his proper qualification to become an apprentice to learn the business of an apothecary."
- Four Teevan's are named, including:
William Teevan - 3 March 1820 - Drummulig, Cavan
Although England's censuses don't start until 1841, we can see that William lived in Hertford in the 1830s:
London Gazette, 1833:

DEATHS
On the 6th ult., at Teplitz in Bohemia, whither he had gone for the recovery of his health, William TEEVAN, Esq., Surgeon of Bryanston-square, London, in the 50th year of his age. It will be consolation to his relatives and friends, in this, his native county, to know that previously to his dissolution, although in a foreign country, he had the happiness of receiving what a life of practical religion and exemplary piety merited, all the rights of the Church, and the consolation of religion. His remains have been embalmed, and removed to their final resting place in the family vault of the new cemetery attached to the Catholic chapel of Chelsea. Requiescat in pace.
Left a will. In it he named as his executors his brothers John Teevan of Princes Place, Kensington, Surrey; James Teevan of St. George's Hanover Square, Middlesex; and the Reverend Thomas Brady of the parish of Kilmore in County Cavan. Since his "dear wife" was otherwise provided for, the whole of his estate was placed into the hands of these three men.
