Note on Husband: John Teevan
Family anecdotal evidence suggests John James was their eldest son, but the 1880 census shows he was not.
Both of John's parents were Irish, as were Anna's.
In 1880, John and Anna were living in Broone Street, New York with their infant son and John's mother. Family anecdotal evidence says that John was a tinsmith; and in the 1880 census he was indeed working as a tinsmith.
