Note on Marriage

John, Catherine and their daughter Marie are listed in the 1910 census. They lived at Belmont Precinct 2, Middlesex, Massachusetts. John worked in a gallery as (from what I can make of the writing) a commercial painter(?)

By 1920, John and Catherine had several more sons. Their home, which they owned, was at Arlington, Middlesex, Massachusetts. John was a salesman for wholesale [cutlery?].

Still in Arlington in 1930, the couple by then had 11 children and John's mother living with them. They owned a house worth $10,000 and spelled the name Teeven. John was a merchandise broker.

John's WWII draft registration card in 1942 shows that he and Catherine were living at that point at 21 Gray Street, Cambridge, Massachusetts. John was self-employed as a commission broker, working in Boston. He had brown hair, blue eyes and a light complexion, and was 5 feet 5 1/2".

Note on Wife: Catherine McDonald

Her parents were Canadian.
