After Jane Ann's death, Thomas Eyres married (1864) a woman named Euphemia (perhaps Stinson) and moved to Winnipeg, where he lived the rest of his life. "Effie" was born August 7, 1829 in Ontario and died January 17, 1888 in Winnipeg.
