Note on Husband: Alexander Teevens
As a child in the 1870 census, Alex was named "Sandy", although he never used this name later.
In 1880 he was living with his parents in Cincinnati, Ohio. Ten years later he was listed in a city directory as a driver, still living at home.
In 1910 he rented a home with his wife and son in Mansfield, Richmond, Ohio. He was the assistant superintendant at a life insurance company.
Ten years later and still in Mansfield with his family, he owned his own home and was an agent for life insurance.
By 1930 he was was lodging at a house in Madison, Richmond, Ohio. He was working as a salesman of household goods and listed himself not as married or widowed, but single!
